Natchez — Debbie Boykin has been promoted to assistant vice president and serves as operations manager at United Mississippi Bank.

Boykin is a graduate of Canton Academy, attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College and graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Banking, where she received an award for outstanding performance for the bank exec portion of the program. She is a graduate of the 2006-2007 Leadership Natchez class. She has been with United Mississippi Bank for nine years and has served as customer service representative and manager of the downtown branch.

She is a member of the Natchez Trace Kiwanis Club.

Boykin is married to Jerry Boykin and the mother of three children; Chrissy Armstrong, Leigh Smith and Lane Smith. She is a grandmother of four.
