JONESVILLE — Services for Helen M. Richardson, 91, of Jonesville, who died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, at Columns Nursing Home in Jonevilles, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Norris officiating.

Burial will follow at Jena Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at the church.

Mrs. Richardson was born Aug. 24, 1919. She was a member of Evangeline Baptist Church.

Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Robert Richardson Jr.; parents, Roy Mitchell and Effie Maples Mitchell; one brother, Rollie Mitchell; and one sister, Louise Hunble.

Survivors include one son, Michael Richardson and wife, Lynda, of Brandon; one daughter, Sharon Wade and husband, David, of Wildsville, La.; two grandsons, Dr. Jason Richardson and wife, Terrilyn, and Brian Wade and wife, Diana; two granddaughters, Dr. Melissa Cater and husband, Paul, and Jennifer Ryan and husband, Chad; three great-grandchildren, Casey Cater, Erica Cater and Carter Ryan.

Pallbearers will be Paul Cater, Chad Ryan, Brian Wade, Dr. Jason Richardson, Larry Eubanks, Chris Humble and Casey Cater.
