NATCHEZ — Two adults allegedly sexually assaulted a minor at their Newman Road home Aug. 5, Adams County Sheriff Chuck Mayfield said.
According to a report filed Friday, a 14-year-old girl said her friends took her to the home of Jessica Olivia Farrar, 30, and Justus Ethan Coleman, 19, 28 Newman Road, on Aug. 5, and when she got there, she reported, Farrar and Coleman gave her alcohol, Mayfield said.
In the report, the girl said upon drinking the alcohol, she began to feel ill and went to lie down in the bedroom, Mayfield said, at which point, the suspects came into the bedroom and allegedly sexually assaulted her.
The girl also reported that at the time of the assault, the other people present at the home were outside, Mayfield said.
The person who actually filed the report is a 57-year-old female, but it was unclear whether the woman is the girl’s mother, Mayfield said.
Farrar and Coleman were each charged with one count of sexual battery. No bond has been set for the suspects.
