Mr. and Mrs. Wade Kirby of Ferriday announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Alannah Morgan Kirby to Hunter Blayne Floyd of Natchez, son of Tracy Carlton and Jimmy Floyd Jr., both formerly of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is the grandaughter of Clarice King of Ferriday, Ward King of Vidalia and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Kirby of Ferriday.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Floyd Sr., of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. Boyce Dover of Woodville.

The wedding will be at 7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, at First Pentecostal Church in Natchez. Rev. James Johnson will perform the ceremony.
