NATCHEZ — As the economy gets tight, Alcorn State University’s Center for Rural Life and Economic Development is offering lessons on how to better manage money.
The personal finance workshop is free to the public and will teach several important financial lessons, like how to manage bills, how to save money to prepare for hard times and how to build credit.
They will also teach students how to identify and handle “fraudulent loan predators.”
The class will be from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the AG Extension Building on Alcorn State’s campus.
