Friday evening, Aug. 3, the annual Natchez Food and Wine Festival began with the sounds of music on the front steps of Receivable Solutions on Main Street.

Many thanks to Ms. Renee Adams and Ms. Stratton Hall of First Natchez Radio Group and Ms. Carrie Lambert of the Natchez Downtown Development Association. These young ladies are responsible for our group — Osgood/Blaque Duo — being there.

We were received with the utmost kindness, from everyone we met, being told that the music brought back old memories.

Citizens of Natchez, keep attending and supporting your hometown events, and you will be given more.

We look forward to seeing everyone again soon. Also, please plan to attend next year’s Food and Wine Festival. This one was fantastic.
