The witness described the vehicle to the police, and the responding officer followed it to a residence on Walnut Street, where Dotson was arrested.

The police reportedly found a gun in the vehicle, along with a small amount of what appeared to be marijuana, Hendricks said.

Dotson was detained without bond at the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office Friday.
