Laura Dees Carter and Robert Thomas Eidt, both of Natchez, were married Saturday, July 9, 2011, at the home of James and Carolyn Thorpe, in Natchez, with the Rev. Dan Wynn officiating.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, John Dees.

Ashley Carpenter, daughter of the bride, and Quinn Southerland, daughter of groom served as matrons of honor.

Danny Eidt, son of groom, and Les Southerland, son-in-law of the groom, served as best men.

After a wedding trip to New Orleans and Mobile, Ala., the couple will live in Natchez.
