JEFFERSON COUNTY – Applications are open now for the 2025 Little Mister and Miss Alcorn State University pageant.

The pageant is sponsored by the Jefferson County Alcorn State University Alumni Chapter and provides funding for scholarships for JeffersonCounty High School seniors.

“The Little Mister and Miss Alcorn State University Pageant is a wonderful opportunity for youth to showcase their talents and contribute to a meaningful cause,” said Sharron Chambliss, who chairs the pageant committee.

The pageant will take place on Aug. 23, but Chambliss said participants are encouraged to apply now.

“Applications are open to all eligible young individuals interested in participating, and the Jefferson County Alumni Chapter encourages candidates to apply.”

Proceeds from the pageant help fund scholarships for graduating seniors from Jefferson Count High School who plan to attend Alcorn State University. “These scholarships are designed to empower and inspire local students as they pursue higher education at Alcorn State University,” Chambliss said.
