NATCHEZ — The photo “Reflection” by Brenda Todoroff of Greensboro, Georgia has been named the winner of the November amateur photographer Natchez Sunset Photo Contest, the city announced, last week.

The second-place winner is “End of the Day” by Jimmy Ray of Charlotte, North Carolina and the third-place winner is “Artsy Sunset” by Hailie Katomski of Natchez.

Entries are being accepted now for the January photo contest. A monthly winner will be named each month now through April 30. First place winners are awarded a $500 cash prize, courtesy of Dr. Randy Tillman.

“The Sunsets of Natchez are hard to match. Help us capture and share our city’s greatest asset.

Upload your best shots of our beautiful sunsets to our gallery. You can include our river, bridge, bandstand, Under the Hill, downtown, parks, people, pets, events, aerials … or anything that catches your eye, but the photos must be taken in Natchez!” officials said.

Winners are chosen by a panel selected by the non-profit Arts Natchez.
