FAYETTE – Elinor J. (Honey) Case passed away peacefully on the morning of Jan. 19, 2025. Elinor was born in Red Lick, MS on Sept 23, 1935, the daughter of Burnice and Irene Stephenson Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Perry W. Case; her sister, Doris Nell Williamson, and brother-in-law, Ralph Williamson.
Survivors include her two sons Robert Wayne Case (Kim) and Charles Perry Case (Cheryl) both of Jefferson County, grandchildren, Shannan Marie Case, Robert Todd Case, Daniel Justin Case, Grace Ann Tumminello, Amy Alise Rehms, Brennan Perry (Justin); great-grandchildren, Jacob Hunter Case (Kaylea), Ava Marie Credle, Betsy Blair Case, Eva Claire Case and James Alton Rehms; great-great-grandchildren, Lilah Hunter Case, and Mason Luca Case; nephews, Ronnie and Randy Williamson, Ron Williamson (Rondah), Christy Sparks (Craig) and multiple other great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Fayette City Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 24, 2025, followed by a graveside service at 11:30 a.m.
Burial will be under the direction of Lairds Funeral Home with Rev. Creighton White officiating.
