The Grand Ball of the Mystique Krewe of Natchez brought the elegance of Paris to the Natchez Convention Center on Saturday night. As the French say, “laissez les bon temps rouler!”
Mystique Krewe was founded in 2017 by Monica Smith, Delvie Gales, Nedra Hackett and Shawanda Robinson. The Krewe regularly performs community service in the Miss-Lou, offering scholarships to graduating seniors, providing entertainment for kids and adults, volunteering, and assisting the elderly.
Below are more scenes from Saturday’s festivities.
Honored were the 2024-25 King and Queen Keith Smith Sr. and Lachelle White Smith of Natchez, who were crowned on Saturday by past King and Queen Tanya Carroll and Willie Seals.
Also honored on Saturday were members of the Royal Court, including Captain Mademoiselle Kimberly Bingham-Franklin, Feletha Yolanda Watson, Shavonne Michelle Tyler and Monsieur Derick Lerrell Tyler, Daphne Lee and Lolita Brown.
Entertainment from dancers and music performers on Saturday evening also delighted the crowd.
