NATCHEZ – Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Natchez Campus will offer two enrichment courses for the spring of 2025: Beginner Pickleball and Basic Life Support (BLS) & CPR. Both classes are designed to provide participants with valuable skills in a fun and engaging setting.

Beginner Pickleball is the perfect introduction for those who are new to the game or want to refine their skills. Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis and is played on a smaller court with solid paddles and a perforated plastic ball. The game is accessible to players of all ages and abilities and has a quick learning curve. The Beginner Pickleball class will cover the basics, including the rules of the game, how to serve, how to execute trick shots, and more. Participants will have access to paddles, or they can bring their own. The classes will be led by experienced instructor, Leigh Anne Mason.  The fee is $55.

Session 1: Tuesdays, February 4, 11, 18, 25 & March 4

At the end of the course, participants will receive CPR certification from the American Heart Association, a credential that is recognized across the country. The class is led by Courtney Nichols for a fee of $70.
