NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Sadie Mae Jones, 72, of Natchez, who passed away on Jan. 11, 2025, will be held on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, at Jerusalem Baptist Church at 11 a.m. with Ernest Ford, Jr. officiating under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Smithland Baptist Church cemetery.

Visitation services will be held on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025, from 3 until 5 p.m. at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez.

Sadie, affectionately known as “Princess”, was born on Nov. 1, 1952, in New Orleans, LA, to Eddie and Lauder Pernell.

Sadie leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Raymond Usher and Dameon Boone; three brothers, Robert Pernell, Lawerance Pernell, and James Pernell; and two sisters, Claudine Sydnor and Claudett Sanders; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
