CLAYTON – Homegoing services for Elouise G. Anderson, 81, of Ferriday, who passed on Jan. 14, 2025, at East Jefferson General Hospital, Metairie, LA, will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025, at St. Mark Baptist Church, Clayton, LA with Pastor Curtis Washington officiating.

Burial will follow at Clayton Garden of Rest Cemetery, Clayton, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Visitation will be held from 4 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Elouise Green Anderson was born Sept. 18, 1943, in Clayton, LA, the daughter of Alberta Green Washington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Jesse Anderson, and Jerry Anderson; one daughter, Odessa Anderson; a number of brothers, sisters, aunts, and uncles.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her seven sons, James Anderson (Tulla) of Houston, TX, Paul Anderson (Lorena) of Crystal City, TX, Kelly Anderson (Alma) of Deville, LA, Micheal Anderson of  Natchez, Timothy Anderson of Ferriday, William Anderson of Dallas, TX, and Larry Washington (Angela) of Burleson, TX; one daughter, Arlene Vinson (Joseph); three brothers, Wilbur Washington (Hazel), both of Ferriday, Curtis Washington (Betty) of Thibodaux, LA, and Rodney Washington (Christine) of Vidalia, LA; one sister, Catherine Leonard of Greensburg, LA; three grandchildren that she reared as her own, Shalandra Anderson, Stanley Anderson, both of Ferriday, and Christine Anderson of Arlington, TX; twenty-four grandchildren; fifty-three great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
