Pilgrimage Garden Club honors Royal Court

NATCHEZ – The Pilgrimage Garden Club celebrated ts 2024 Royal Court at the Royal Court Presentation Ball on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, at Stanton Hall.

Members of the court include:

 King Samuel Rush Mosby

Samuel Rush Mosby is the son of Betsy and Sim Mosby of Natchez, and the brother of Cole Mosby, our 2020 Pilgrimage Garden Club King. He is the grandson of Rowan and Jim Milton, Bucky Colebank, Ellen Mosby, and the late Bill Rush Mosby, Jr. all of Natchez. Sam is a 2021 graduate of Cathedral High School. Sam is currently completing his senior year at The University of Mississippi. He is majoring in Finance, Risk Management and Insurance.

Sam is a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity, The National Society of Leadership and Success and the Ole Miss Finance Accelerator Club, where he serves as the Risk Management Chair. His hobbies include golfing, attending Ole Miss sporting events, and spending time with his family and friends.

 Queen Caroline Faith Guedon

Caroline is the daughter of Fayla Huff Guedon and Archie Noble Guedon of Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of Mary Ed and Arch Guedon of Church Hill, Dani and Curtis Cowart of Natchez, and Susan and Ken Huff of Meadville. Caroline has one brother Grayson Noble Guedon who is a sophomore at Mississippi State University.

Caroline is a 2021 honors graduate from Cathedral High School. There she was cheer captain, on the peer ministry team, captain of the varsity tennis team, a graduate of Natchez Youth Leadership, CHS Hall of Fame, and was voted the 2020 Homecoming Maid of Honor.

Caroline is currently a senior at Mississippi State University where she is majoring in Finance with a minor in Marketing. After graduation in May, she plans to continue her education at MSU by pursuing a master’s in business administration.

She is a member of the Delta Gamma sorority where she was the firector of fundraising her junior year raising $20,000 towards Delta Gamma’s lectureship series in values and ethics. She recently served as the 2024 Chapter Management Team VP of Finance where she created and managed the chapter’s yearly budget and handled all chapter expenses. She has been a part of many philanthropic events to raise money towards the Delta Gamma Foundation as well as Gallant Hearts, a guide dog breeding and training center located in Jackson, and Service for Sight, which supports the five Delta Gamma Schools created for people with visual impairments.

Her hobbies include pickleball, spending time with her friends at the lake, and being with her family. She is a member of Jefferson Street Methodist Church where she served as president of the youth group her senior year of high school and continues to actively work with the youth today.

Gentlemen of the Court

Hollis Lees

Hollis is the son of Madison and Jason Lees of Natchez. He is the grandson of Mr. And Mrs. Jerry K. Foster of Woodville, Ms. And Mr. And Mrs. Sonny Lees of Natchez. He has one sister, Huddy.

Hollis was an honor graduate at Cathedral High School, Class of 2021. Throughout his years at Cathedral, he was involved in various sports and clubs.

Hollis is currently a senior at the University of Mississippi, where he is majoring in both finance and risk management. He is an active member of Kappa Sigma fraternity as well as other campus clubs and organizations.

Hollis spends his free time enjoying the company of family and friends, cheering on the rebels, fishing and playing golf.

 Charles Hayden Kaiser IV

Chase Kaiser is the son of Michelle and Hayden Kaiser of Natchez. He is the grandson of Brenda Burgess and the late Brian Burgess of Natchez and the late Barbara and Hayden Kaiser of Natchez. He has two siblings, Caroline and Matthew.

Chase was an honor graduate of Cathedral High School, Cclass of 2021. Chase played basketball and golf during high school winning individual state championships in golf his 9th and 12th grade years. Upon graduation, he joined the golf team at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College where he was named player of the year his sophomore year.

Chase is currently a senior finance major at the University of North Alabama where he is also a member of the golf team. Chase enjoys his family and friends and playing golf at any opportunity. His claim to fame is winning the City Championship in 2021 and the Beau Pre Club Championship in 2024.

 Harris Pyron

Harris Pyron is the son of Leigh and Jamie Saunders and Mary Allen and Derek Pyron. He is the grandson of Micki and Joe Hartley, Noreen Pyron and Jerry Pyron. He is brother to his twin Hartley, and their sister Lucy.

Harris graduated from Cathedral school with honors. He is currently a senior finance major at the University of Mississippi. Harris is an active member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He is employed at Goose Creek Tennis Club in Oxford. Harris enjoys watching sports, hanging out with his friends and playing pickleball.

Ladies of the Court

Mackenzie Bertrand

Mackenzie is the daughter of Tracy and Robin Bertrand of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. The Bertrand family relocated to Natchez in 2011, and it was during this time that Mackenzie found her home in Natchez.

Mackenzie was ranked Top 10 at Cathedral High School, Class of 2021. Throughout her high school years, she was actively involved in various extracurricular activities, both within and outside of school. Currently, Mackenzie is a senior at LSU, where she is pursuing a degree in Biology and has earned her a spot on the Dean’s List each semester. Looking towards the future, Mackenzie has ambitions to continue her education by applying to LSU Dental School in New Orleans.

Apart from her academic achievements, Mackenzie is a devoted member of the St. Anne Catholic Church, LSU Pre-Dental Society, and Chi Omega Sorority. She actively participates in her sorority’s philanthropic efforts, especially in supporting the Make a Wish Foundation. Additionally, Mackenzie volunteers her time at Days for Girls, Baton Rouge Food Bank, and St. Joseph Hospice in Baton Rouge. In her free time, Mackenzie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying out new recipes, taking long walks, and playing pickleball.

 Allie Claire Feltus

Allie is the daughter of Courtney and Charles Feltus, Jr. of Natchez. She is the granddaughter of Dianne Brown, Angie Brown and the late Ronny Brown, Tony and Annette Byrne, and Charles and Betty Feltus and the late Alice Claire Feltus, whom she is named after.

Allie is a 2021 honors graduate from Cathedral High School. While at Cathedral she was a member of the Emerald Tide dance team, the softball, basketball and track teams.

Allie is currently attending Piedmont University in Demorest Georgia where she is majoring in Forensic Science. At Piedmont, Allie is Captain of the track team where she pole vaults and throws discus, hammer, shot put and javelin. Allie holds the discus record in two conferences, the USA South and the Collegiate Conference of the South.

Allie is an officer in the criminalistics club where she has participated in Forensic and anthropology camps. After graduation, Allie plans to work as a latent print examiner. Her hobbies include antiquing, listening to records and spending time with her family and friends.

 Annalyce Noel Riley

Annalyce is the daughter of Carol Ann Riley and Jimmy Riley, both of Natchez. She is the granddaughter of Myrtle Ann Collins and the late Jackie Collins of Jonesville, Louisiana, and of Julie and Willie Riley of Natchez.

Annalyce graduated from Cathedral High School in 2021 as Salutatorian and is currently a senior at Louisiana State University majoring in digital marketing. She serves as the Secretary on the LSU Esports executive board. She is a recipient of the Doyle P. “Bubba” Spell Endowed Scholarship, the Jean Biglane Foundation Green Pen Award, and the LSU Academic Scholars Award. Her hobbies include competitive Esports, cooking vegan food, and traveling with friends and family.

Brooks Alise Speed

Brooks Speed is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Arthur Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Earl Speed Jr., all of Natchez. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Windell Adrian Kennedy of Raleigh. and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Earl Speed, Sr. of Prentiss. She is sister to Hagan Speed, who served as our 2022 Pilgrimage Garden Club King, and step-sister to Ainsley Wills.

Brooksie is a 2021 graduate of Cathedral High School where she participated in soccer, tennis, and cross-country sports, and served as junior class secretary. She is currently a senior at The University of Mississippi where she is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education, with endorsements in both Early Childhood Development, and Special Education. She is involved in the Ole Miss School of Education organizations and activities, including serving on the AmeriCorps JumpStart team serving the surrounding counties’ preschool classrooms.  She is an alumni member of Pi Beta Phi sorority, and attends Oxford-University United Methodist Church where she is a nursery volunteer.

In her spare time Brooksie enjoys any activity involving children, as well as cooking, shopping, and most of all- traveling!  She is honored to be a member of the 2024 Pilgrimage Garden Club’s Royal Presentation Court.

Mary Noble Guedon

Mary Noble Guedon is the daughter of Matthew and Lauren Guedon of Natchez, and the sister of Charlie, Cap and Liza Guedon. She is the granddaughter of Louis and Becky Guedon, Charles Mingee and Tina Cottman, all of Natchez. Mary Noble is in the second grade and attends Adams County Christian School and is a member of Church Hill Methodist Church. She is a student at the Middleton School of Dance and participates in AYA cheerleading. Her hobbies include riding horses with her cousins, makeup and all things crafty. Mary Noble has the honor of serving on the royal court with her cousin, Queen Caroline Guedon.

Mary Carlyle Killen

Mary Carlyle is the 6-year-old daughter of Carlyle and Bryant Killen and the granddaughter of Charlynne and Bill Paxton of Tallulah, Louisiana, and Honda and Ken Killen of Waterproof, Louisiana. She has two siblings: William, age 9, and Jewel, age 8. Mary Carlyle and her siblings attend Cathedral School and are parishioners of St. Mary’s Basilica. Mary Carlyle is in the first grade and loves her teachers and her friends. She enjoys swimming, singing, cheerleading and tumbling, as well as dancing at Middleton School of Dance. Mary Carlyle loves to read and do art projects, especially at Mississippi School of Folk Arts. She spends most of her time playing with her cats and her bunny rabbit and playing dress up, but her favorite thing to do is to play with her brother and sister. When she grows up, Mary Carlyle wants to be a teacher at Cathedral School.

Shepard Barron Borden

Shepard Barron Borden is the son of Diane DuPont of Natchez and James Roland Borden of Abilene, Texas. He is the grandson of Dr. Ann DuPont of Natchez. Shepard is the little brother and best buddy of Maxwell Graham Watson, a member of last year’s 2023 court.

Shep enjoys baseball, football, piano, drums and music. His favorite thing to do is to visit his big brother and his Tulane housemates in New Orleans and watch his brother race on the racetrack. He is currently in Kindergarten at Cathedral School.

Nathan James Carter

Nathan James Carter is the son of Will and Heather Carter of Natchez and the proud big brother of Henry Joseph Carter. He is the grandson of Mark and Mary Ann Carter of Vidalia, Louisiana, and Darwin and Wanda Huff of Gloster. Nathan James attends Kindergarten at Cathedral School and is a member of St. Mary’s Basilica. Nathan James loves playing basketball, tee ball, soccer, and golf. In his spare time, Nathan James loves to color, swim, draw, spend time with his family and frien
