NATCHEZ – Sandy Fiser, age 52, of St. Francisville, LA, passed away at her home on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Sandy was born April 15, 1972, in Natchez, to parents Eugenia Mardis Matthew and Rodger Dale Matthew. Sandy adored her friends and family and was passionate about furniture restoration and antiques. She was a member of the St. Francisville, United Methodist Church.

Sandy is survived by her husband, attorney Michael Adams Fiser; their two daughters, Laurel Lee Fiser, 16, and Emma Gene Fiser, 20; her brother, Dale Matthew, and many more loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Eugenia Mardis; father, Rodger Matthew; and aunt, Allene Noble.

Visitation for Sandy Fiser will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 14, from 5 until 7 p.m., and Wednesday, Jan. 15, from 10 until 11 a.m., at Laird Funeral Home in Natchez.

Funeral services will be held at Laird Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Allison Sikes of the St. Francisville United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will follow at Donohue Plantation Family Cemetery off the Natchez Trace Parkway under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be, Matt Westmoreland, Chisum Mardis, James Ray, Trey Mardis, Zachary Matthew, and David Robertson.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Steve Robertson, Allen Mardis, and Lee Mardis.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
