NATCHEZ – Graveside services for Keith Edward Sanders, 61, of Natchez,  who passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Adams County Nursing Center. will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8 at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Keith was born April 16, 1963, at Jeff Davis Hospital in Natchez,  to James E. (Jim) and Dorothy Grace (Dot) Sanders. Keith moved with his family at a young age to Atlanta, where he began school. After many years in the Atlanta area the family returned to Natchez where Keith graduated from South Natchez-Adams High School in 1981.

Keith was an instrumental part of the family business, Drive- In Cleaners, for many years until he returned to Atlanta where he earned a photography degree from The Art Institute of Atlanta in 1990. After returning to Natchez, he spent several years working for the First Natchez Radio Group in various capacities. Years later, he would still entertain friends and family with his radio voice.

In 2006, Keith fulfilled his dream of becoming a Registered Nurse when he graduated from Alcorn State University. His specialty and passion was working at various hospitals in the emergency room.

Keith is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Dorothy Grace (Dot) Sanders and his loving furbaby, Sylvester, a black and white tuxedo cat. Those left behind to cherish Keith’s memories are his father, Jim Sanders; sister, Cheri Sanders ;and brother Benjie Sanders and his wife Lisa, all of Natchez; eight nieces and nephews; and three great-nieces.

Those honoring Keith as pallbearers are Dillon Hollingsworth, Matt Robbins, James Bailey, Kevin Graham, Glenn Hall and Jerry Walker.
