NATCHEZ – A new Zaxbys Restaurant will open Monday, Jan. 6, in Natchez.

Social media pages for the eatery announced the opening date on Thursday, adding “see you soon” to the post.

The restaurant, located at 284 Seargent S. Prentiss Drive, was announced in 2024 and has been in the hiring process for several weeks.

It was built on land owned previously by Richard LaNasa of Mandeville, La., who opened the Pure Car Wash on Seargent S. Prentiss Drive near Walmart. LaNasa and partners also own the former Community Hospital property in Natchez.

The chicken finger focused chain was founded in Statesboro, Ga., bys Zach McLeroy and Tony Townley. In the three decades since then, Zaxbys has grown to include over 950 locations in 17 states and is now headquartered in Atlanta.
