BROOKHAVEN – United Mississippi Bank has opened a new loan and production office in downtown Brookhaven.
The office is an expansion for the Natchez-based community bank and will serve customers in Lincoln County and surrounding areas.
Located at 130 South Whitworth Avenue, the new office will provide a full range of lending and deposit services, including small business loans, mortgage solutions, personal banking, and more.
“We’re thrilled to bring UMB’s personalized banking experience to Brookhaven,” said Adrian Sandel. “Our goal is to provide convenient, dependable, and community-focused financial solutions that empower local businesses and residents to thrive. Having local Jason Furr on the UMB team make this expansion a tremendous opportunity for UMB to provide hometown banking to such a vibrant and growing community.”
Furr, a graduate of Brookhaven Academy with 28 years of banking experience, has been working in the Brookhaven community since August 2024, coming to UMB from Pike National Bank, where he was city president.
“I am excited about our location in the heart of downtown Brookhaven and look forward to continuing to serve the community I love where me and my family have deep roots,” Furr said.
The new Loan and Deposit Production Office reflects UMB’s ongoing strategy to support local economies and expand access to high-quality financial services. With a focus on fostering growth and building long-lasting relationships, UMB continues to prioritize the communities it serves. Later in January, UMB will host a ribbon cutting with the Brookhaven Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce and looks forward to showing the community its new location.
UMB, a locally owned community bank for over 50 years, is based in Natchez. UMB services Adams County, Franklin County, Jefferson County, Wilkinson County, and Concordia Parish and is expanding to Port Gibson, New Roads, La., and Eunice, La. at the end of January.
