NATCHEZ—Funeral services for Oather T. Woods, 74, of Natchez, who passed away on Dec. 30, 2024, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. at McNeely Church of God in Natchez, with Bro. Chris Sowell officiating under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Natchez.

Visitation services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, from 10 a.m. until service time at the McNeely Church of God in Natchez Church.

Oather was born May 9, 1950, in Mississippi, to O. T. Woods and Della Pitts Woods.

Oather was preceded in death by his parents, O. T. and Della Pitts Woods; his wife of forty-two years, Bertie Woods.

Oather leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Kenneth Woods and Jason Holland, his fiancé, Kristine, and their children, Tanner Holland, Jace Cole, Sadie Holland, and Bella Bedson; three stepsons, Alan Holland and wife, Carol, Tim Holland and wife, Charlene, and Steven Holland and his children; a special niece, Lynn Reeves; other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Peyton Beach, Nick Beach, Tim Vanier, Patrick Hall, David Mize, Roddy Powell and Brent Atkinson.
