Vicki Nichols Nosser of Natchez, passed away peacefully at home on December 30, at the age of 73.

Vicki was a remarkable woman whose strength, love, and unyielding spirit touched all who knew her.

Born on March 4, 1951, Vicki was a force of nature who never hesitated to speak her mind or stand her ground. She faced life—and all its challenges—with courage and honesty, a trait that earned her the respect and admiration of many.

Throughout her fight against a long-term illness, Vicki demonstrated resilience and positivity that inspired everyone around her. Through it all, her love for her family never wavered. She fiercely loved her two sons, Jay and Justin, who were the pride of her life, and she adored her four grandsons who brought her boundless joy and laughter.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, determination, and authenticity. Her family and friends will forever cherish her sharp wit, her unwavering support, and the countless lessons she imparted.

Vicki is survived by her husband of more than 50 years, George John Nosser Jr.; her children, George John “Jay” Nosser, III (Julie), and Justin Nosser (Kristen); her grandsons, Braden, Andrew, Nicholas and Michael; many nieces and nephews, and so many others whose lives she touched.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, John and Frances Nichols; her sister, Rebecca “Becky” Nichols Crute; her brother, John D. “Spanky” Nichols, and other loved ones.

Though she is no longer with us, her memory will remain a guiding light for those she loved.

A celebration of Vicki’s life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Calvary On The Hill Church, 522 Hwy 61 S., Natchez.

Flowers may be sent to the church, or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary On The Hill Church in Vicki’s honor.

Rest in peace, Nana. You were deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
