NATCHEZ – Christmas came a little early for a Natchez man who won $2,700 in a Mississippi Lottery drawing.

The man won the prize in the Dec. 15 evening Cash 4 drawing with the numbers 5171. He did not play the Fireball number.

According to the Mississippi Lottery website, the odds of winning the four-way exact prize of $2,700 are 1 in 10,000.

The $5 ticket was purchased at Sprint Mart #62.
