VIDALIA, La. — The Vidalia Garden Club extends its gratitude to everyone who joined in the community Christmas Lighting Contest with such beautiful lawn and home Christmas decorating.

“We thoroughly enjoyed picking our ‘Christmas Lighting Contest’ winners,” member Angie Knapik said. The contest was open to anyone who lives in the Vidalia community. Homes were judged and the winners were selected by a committee of garden club members.

Listed below are our Vidalia community winners in both Traditional and Non Traditional categories. Each were awarded with the Vidalia Beautification Committee’s 2024 Christmas Ornament and a yard sign.

“Thank you all again for bringing such spirit and holiday cheer to our Vidalia community,” Knapik said. “Happy New Year and blessings to everyone.”

1st Place Non-Traditional: Nicholas Carroll, 4 Susan Circle

2nd Place Non-Traditional: Olivia Carroll, 302 Elm St.

1st Place Traditional: Marc and Tana Archer, 1201 Concordia Ave.

2nd Place Traditional: Kendra and Colt Slover, 1012 Guillory St.
