ROXIE – Funeral services for Alfred Brent Williams Jr., 32, of Gulfport, MS, who passed away on Dec. 6, 2024, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024, at Roxie First Baptist Church in Roxie, MS, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Lamar Briggs officiating under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lazy S. Cemetery in Kirby, MS.

Visitation services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024, from 10 a.m. at the church until service time at the church.

Alfred, affectionately known as “BJ” was born on May 31, 1992, to Alfred Brent Williams Sr. and Massie L. Smith-Williams.

” BJ” was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Walter Ike Smith and Jessie Lee Smith, and his paternal grandfather, Al Jessie Williams.

He is survived by his two beautiful children, Zaqwan L. Evans and Ikeasia L. Evans of Gulfport, MS; his mother, Massie Smith-Simmons and husband, Odell Jr. of Gulfport, MS; his father, Alfred Brent Williams Sr., and wife, Cherry of Roxie, MS,; his three sisters, Brittany S. Williams of Gulfport, MS, Gerriana S. Williams of Hattiesburg, MS, and Karmyn A. Williams of Meadville, MS; his paternal grandmother, Shirley Williams-Hamilton of Natchez; a loving aunt, Constance R. Shaw of Birmingham, AL; along with a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
