NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Everlina Fleming Pickett, 90, of Natchez, who died on Sunday

Dec. 8, 2024, in Natchez, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church with Rev. Ernest Ford officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 13, 2024, from 3 until 5 p.m. at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel Natchez.

Everlina was born on Dec. 19, 1933, in Natchez, to Howard Fleming and Mary Mock Fleming.

Everlina was loved by everyone who knew her. She was married to the late Richard Pickett.

They lived in Natchez, where they had five beautiful daughters (Angelene, Ida, Rene, Ora Mae, and Denese). Unfortunately, their daughter, Ora died at birth.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Mock Fleming; her father, Howard Fleming; her

brothers, Idorsey Fleming, Morris Mock, Leroy Fleming, Norman Fleming, Frank Mock, and her

sisters, Josephine Fleming, Camille Jackson, Delzina Fleming.

She is survived by her siblings, Berta King, Eva Calvin, Geneva Jackson, and Rev. Otis Fleming; her children, Angelene Williams, Ida Hunter, Rene Pickett, and Denese Harris (Darryl Harris), she is also survived by her grandchildren, Larry Hunter Jr., Keynisha Hunter, and Alexis Williams; great-grandchild, Jonathan Smith, and a host of nieces and nephews, other relative and friends.
