Field Health CEO tapped for statewide hospital board

MADISON – B. Richard Williams, III, MPH, Chief Executive Officer of Field Health System, has been named to the Mississippi Hospital Association Board of Governors. He will serve as the Southwest Council Representative. The MHA Board of Governors’ primary function is to make policy decisions and provide fiduciary oversight for the trade association.
Field Health System is an integral health care system in Southwest Mississippi serving residents in Amite and Wilkinson counties and a proud long-time member of the Mississippi Hospital Association and the Mississippi Rural Hospital Alliance.
Williams graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a Master of Public Health (MPH) with emphasis in health policy and administration. With over 25 years of experience, he has held various healthcare leadership roles in Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Mississippi. Williams has been married to Rachel for 22 years and has three daughters, Sydney, Caroline, and Lily.
