Vidalia Christmas parade, festival rescheduled due to weather

VIDALIA, La. — The forecasted weather for this Sunday has pushed the Vidalia Women’s Club and Garden Club to push its annual Christmas parade and festival by one week.
The parade will still start at 3:30 p.m. at Vidalia High School, but on Dec. 15, the women’s club shared. Line up begins at 2:30 p.m. Immediately following the parade, the Christmas festival hosted by the beautification committee takes place at the old Concordia Parish Courthouse.
