FERRIDAY, La. — Lilly-Anne Bryan, an 11-year-old girl from Ferriday who survived a long cancer battle at the age of four, has died.
Her mother Lacy Bryan shared an update on social media on the evening of Thanksgiving.
“Update Lilly-Anne day 189 inpatient. She is no longer in pain, she is no longer struggling. She is with Jesus,” Bryan said.
Lilly-Ann had suffered from pulmonary fibrosis — a lung disease caused by her cancer treatment. The Miss-Lou community rallied around her family in a show of support when doctors had done all they could do.
The once active little girl who loved riding horses spent the last six months of her life in the Houston Texas Children’s Hospital.
Prayers and condolences flooded Bryan’s social media at the news of Lilly-Ann’s passing.
She is survived by her mother, her father Joey and an older brother, Tucker.
