NATCHEZ — The nonprofit Pretty Girls with Brains and the Southwest Wellness Association of Mississippi announced an open house on Dec. 2 for the Frazier Education and Cultural Enrichment Center, to be housed at the former Frazier Elementary School.

“Mark your calendars for a special community event!” announced Bettye Bell of Pretty Girls With Brains. “With a mission to foster education, celebrate cultural diversity, and drive economic empowerment, the center will be a vibrant new resource in our community.

The open house will take place on Monday, December 2, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the center, located at 1445 George F. West Blvd in Natchez.

“All community members are warmly invited to explore the center, learn more about the various programs it offers and meet the dedicated team who will be coordinating these initiatives.

“As a highlight of the open house, visitors can join in on a ‘Family Game Night’ — one of the center’s quarterly activities. Family Game Night offers families the chance to connect with subjects their students are learning in school in a fun, engaging way. It’s an excellent opportunity to bring families together in the spirit of education and community, with a little friendly competition added in.”

Bell said the Frazier Extended  Education and Cultural Enrichment Center is more than just a space; it’s a commitment to the community to inspire future generations and create pathways to success.

“Through innovative programming and a steadfast dedication to the values of education, diversity, and empowerment, the center is poised to make a lasting impact,” she said. “Don’t miss this chance to support a new chapter for our community and see how the Frazier Education and Cultural Enrichment Center can be part of your family’s future!”
