An Amite County man is a $100,000 richer after playing the Mississippi Lottery.

According to the Mississippi Lottery, the man won the prize on a $5 Lucky Dog scratch-off ticket. The prize is one of two $100,000 grand prizes available, and as of Wednesday the other $100,000 prize is still available. Also available are one $5,000 prize and 26 $500 prizes.

The odds of winning any prize in the game are 1:4.03, and the odds of winning the overall prize are 1:439,960.

The winning ticket was purchased from Bluesky Store #301 in Summit.
