NATCHEZ – Services for Ronn Kimbro, 79, who passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness on Nov. 19, 2024, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Wolle officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, at Laird Funeral Home and 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, at Laird Funeral Home.

He was raised in Natchez, where he spent his youth helping his family run Kimbro’s grocery on Canal Street. He went on to graduate with a Master’s Degree in math education from Mississippi College. He spent 45 years in the educational system in both Texas and Mississippi.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Ray Kimbro Senior and Sarah Mildred Montgomery, and his brothers, Dave and Ray Kimbro.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sandra White Kimbro along with his brother, Calvin Kimbro. Also left to cherish his memory are his stepson, Kaya Karabelen, his wife, Sharla, and their daughter, Sarah Grace. Other step-grandchildren include Jash Karabelen, Hannah Karabelen, Zack Karabelen, and Braylee Duncan.

Ronn loved to play the guitar and harmonica in church as well as creating hundreds of pen and ink drawings.
