NATCHEZ — Within the last three weeks, someone stole a red truck owned by Ser Seshsh Ab Heter-Clifford M. Boxley.

Boxley, who was away from his Providence Road home at the time, discovered the missing truck upon his return.

“Some dark energy person or persons done stole this 85-year-old elder’s truck,” Boxley said.

While Boxley said he needs his truck back, what he is most concerned about is what was in it.

“That’s what’s got me the most. I had Civil War artifacts, Civil War replica weapons in it. I also had half a case of my book, ‘Ancestors’ Wisdom, Yesterday and Today,’ “ he said.

Boxley published his book in 1994 when he was living in California.

He also said the truck contained a poster of the ancient African tree of life and various pictures and posters of events in history that are collectibles.

Boxley’s truck is a red 1997 XES Nissan pickup truck with a personalized Adams County license tag SESHSH. It has two doors and has a red attached Campus Shell Cover over the pick up. He said the tailgate is broken from its hinges and the Campus Shell locks are broken.

The truck was parked in front of Boxley’s home on Providence Road when it was taken.

“There are lots of historical things stored in the pickup bed,” he said.

Boxley said the cab of the truck held a box of Forks of the Road commemorative t-shirts and posters he used at various Civil War enactments, as well as African clothing.

Anyone with information about the truck can call the Adams County Sheriff’s Office at 601-442-2752 or CrimeStoppers toll-free at 888-442-5001. You will not be asked your name and CrimeStoppers does not have Caller ID.
