OPELOUSAS, La. — The No. 17 seed Delta Charter School Storm saw its season come to an end last Friday night as they fell on the road to the No. 16 seed Westminster Christian Academy Crusaders 54-12 in the Bi-District Round of the 2024 LHSAA Select Division IV Playoffs.

Delta Charter was only down 13-6 after one quarter of play, but a 21-point second quarter by Westminster Christian ended any hopes of the Storm pulling off the upset. The Crusaders shut out the Storm 20-0 in the second half.

With the loss, District 2-1A runner-up Delta Charter finished with an overall record of 7-3. Westminster Christian Academy (7-4) will next play at No. 1 seed Vermillion Catholic School in the regional round.
