NATCHEZ – Services for Jamie Ray Mathis, 46, of West Monroe who passed Nov. 5, 2024, in Centreville, MS will be at 1 p.m. on Nov. 8, 2024, at Laird Funeral Home with Danny Reed officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Nov. 8, 2024, at Laird Funeral Home prior to the service.
Jamie Ray was born on Aug. 13, 1978, in Natchez, the son of Tommy Ray Mathis and Angela Kimbrough Mathis.
Jamie Ray was an amazing, hardworking man who loved his wife, kids, and grandkids more than anything. He loved riding motorcycles and working on them with his father Tommy Ray. He dedicated his life to spending time with his family and friends and to know him was to love him.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Angela Mathis; sister, Jessi Mathis, and grandson, Elliot James Angles.
Survivors include his wife, Kara Mathis; father, Tommy Ray Mathis, and stepmom, Regina Mathis; siblings, Jevon Smith, Sara Hill, Scott Houston; stepbrother, Denny, and Heather Skinner; children, Jordan Houston, Jamie Mathis Jr., Chris, and Brady Angles, Rebecca Latham, Ethan and Julia Nolan, Dylan Nolan, Hanna Nolan and Honorary Daughter, Brook Johnson; grandkids, Jerrick Latham, Grant Nolan, Roran Nolan, and Naomi Nolan and so many other beloved family and friends.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard Cole, Brian Whatley, Gene Barnes, Jerry “Moose” Daniels, Eason Peeples, Chris Marsh, Mike Porter, and Freddie Wheeler.
