NATCHEZ — Magnolia Bluffs Casino continued to be closed on Monday while officials at Saratoga Holdings LLC, the casino’s parent company, battled what it called IT issues.
The casino closed on Friday after a “computer glitch.”
In fact, all casino properties of Saratoga Holdings LLC, Magnolia Bluffs’ parent company, have been reported to be affected because of problems with the company’s computer system.
Casino.org reported Monday at noon that Magnolia Bluffs and the Colorado casino remain closed.
“Magnolia Bluffs Casino is currently experiencing IT issues. We are working diligently to resolve the problem. We will reopen as soon as possible,” Amy Brannigan, director of marketing for Sarasota Casino Holdings, said early Friday evening.
Brannigan confirmed on Saturday evening that the computer problems have affected the company’s casinos in Colorado and New York state.
“All properties were impacted in some way,” Brannigan said. “Unfortunately, we have no update on a timeframe (for opening the casino in Natchez) yet.”
Saratoga Holdings also owns casinos and property in Saratoga Springs, New York, and Black Hawk, Colorado.
On Monday afternoon, Brannigan said, “At this time, we remain focused on resolving the technical issues we are having so we can reopen as quickly as possible.”
Brannigan did not respond to questions about whether the Saratoga Holdings computer system had been hacked, or how much money the casino was losing per day with the Magnolia Bluffs closure.
