NATCHEZ – The number four proved to be lucky for one Natchez lottery player last week.

According to the Mississippi Lottery, a Natchez man won $6,750 on five Cash 4 tickets from Go Mart in Natchez.

And he played the number “4444” on all five tickets.

The player spent $10 0n five tickets, $2 each, for the Oct. 24 evening drawing.

The numbers drawn in that game were 4-4-4-2 and 4 as the Fireball number. There was one exact order winner and 69 Fireball winners, according to state website.

The tickets were purchased at GoMart in Natchez. ‘”We love it when our customers win,” said GoMart owner Tom Graning.
