NATCHEZ – A Celebration of Life for Webbie Jo Eidt, 95, of Natchez who died on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, in Natchez will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at Kingston United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Eidt was born on March 16, 1929, in Puckett, MS, the second daughter of Maurice and Emma Dell Burnham.

After graduation, she moved to Natchez where she met the love of her life, Charles S. Eidt. They married on June 29, 1950. She worked for the Laird’s as a cosmetologist and later opened a shop at her home in Kingston.

Webbie loved sewing, crocheting, knitting, tatting, and painting and had many friends through these crafts.

Webbie was preceded in death by her parents; an older sister, Maurine Slater; her husband, Charles, and a daughter, Jeanie Dell Cauthen.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Eidt, and a son, Chuck, and wife, Scarlett.

The family would like to thank Ms. Rosa Newman and her staff at New Beginnings Personal Care Home and Compassus Hospice for the wonderful way they cared for our mom.
