NATCHEZ – Congressman Bennie G. Thompson will honor Black law enforcement officers, professionals, businesses, and unsung heroes in Natchez on Saturday at the Natchez Convention Center from 10 a.m. to noon.

A press release from Thompson’s office said the event is being organized in collaboration with the Natchez Business and Civic League and will recognize 72 honorees, including individuals from the Natchez-Adams School District, Natchez Police, Adams County Sheriff’s Office, city and county employees and various Black-owned businesses from the historic Black Natchez downtown district.
