FERRIDAY – Funeral services for Mr. Olee Green, 98, of Ferriday, LA will be held on Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, at 11 a.m. from Rose Hill Baptist Church in Ferriday under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Zion Hill Church Cemetery in Ferriday with Pastor Eddie Schiele officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Green, son of Harry and Martha Bowie Green was born in Frogmore, LA and died at Trinity Medical in Ferriday. He was retired from International Paper and a deacon at Rose Hill Church.

He is survived by one son, James Wallace, Jr. (Fay) of Flushing, MI; six grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
