NATCHEZ — Friday morning, hot air balloons will be taking off from the Natchez Mall area at approximately 7:15 a.m. heading for a target placed at Concordia Parish Airport for the first event of the Natchez Balloon Festival.

Stay tuned for another flight update this afternoon.

Festival gates open at 4 p.m. at Rosalie mansion.
