NATCHEZ — HOWL-oween comes early for our four-legged friends in Natchez.

Thursday, Oct. 10, is the HOWL-oween Pet Parade through Downtown Natchez. The public of all ages is invited to dress up their pet dog or cat in their Halloween costumes for a leisurely stroll through downtown.

The parade lasts from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and covers two blocks of downtown, starting at the pumpkin patch at 100 S. Pearl St.

Entry is $5 with a back of dog or cat food with all proceeds to benefit the Natchez Adams County Humane Society.

This event is hosted by the Downtown Natchez Alliance, a Mississippi Main Street organization.
