GARDEN CITY – Graveside services for Felix Hall, 69, of California, formerly of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Friday, Sept. 27, 2024, in California will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Pernell Cemetery in Garden City, MS.
Burial will follow in the cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Felix was born on Aug. 16, 1955, in Natchez, the son of Bessie Hall. He met the love of his life, Carolyn, in Natchez, where they started their family with two children. The family later moved to Stockton, CA, where they welcomed two more children into their lives. Felix devoted his career to Delta College, retiring as a lead custodian, where he was respected and appreciated by all. He had a passion for fishing and spent many enjoyable days competing in bass tournaments. Music and dancing brought him immense joy. Felix was known for his fun-loving spirit, humor, and ability to create a sense of community wherever he went. He also had a unique ability to be straightforward with those around him, which endeared him to friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Hall, mother, and other relatives.
Felix leaves to cherish his memories: four children, ShonKeith Davis (Tania), Sherica Ivy, Tiffani Hall and Felix Kendrell Hall; five grandchildren, Eboni Davis, Marina Hall, Patrick Cogner, Josiah Ivy, and Preston Hall; dear companion, Amber Vanburen; uncle, J. C. Hall (Rosie Mae), aunt, Willie Mae Griffin; special cousins, Donald McNeil and Rosie Sweazer; sister-in-law, Carolyn Hall; other relatives and friends.
