Stephen Dale Hancock, Sr. passed away on October 7, 2024, just shy of his 67th birthday. He was born on Oct. 13, 1957, in McComb, MS, to Fulton Hancock and Jimmie Jo Kerr.

Steve enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing foosball, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his mother Jimmie Jo Kerr of GulfPort, MS; sister Robbie Headrick and husband Kent Headrick of Foley, AL; his two sons, Stephen Hancock Jr. and wife, Molly Hancock of Aurora, CO, and Cody Hancock of Natchez, MS, and his granddaughter, Hadley Hancock of Aurora, CO. His family was his whole heart.

The family would like to express gratitude to Compassus Hospice, Adams County Nursing Home, and all the friends and family who have supported him over the past year.

Steve will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed. May he rest in peace.
