CLAYTON – Funeral services for Rodney Bazley, 73, of Ferriday, who passed away on Sept. 29, 2024, will be held on Friday, Oct. 11, 2024, at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Clayton, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Leroy White officiating under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery.

Visitation services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez and on Friday, Oct. 11, 2024, from 9 a.m. until the service time at the church.

Rodney was born on May 26, 1951, in New Orleans, LA, to James Bazley and Dorothy Myles Swan. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard.

He is preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Lizzie Birth; and mother-in-law, Eloise Thompson.

Rodney leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Faye; two daughters, Deidra Frelix-Martin and Hope Mosby; three sisters, Sylvia Hayes, Barbara Cole, and Edith Williams; two brothers, John Swan Jr. and Roosevelt Swan.
