Nuts for Mutts fundraiser Saturday at corner of Canal and State streets

NATCHEZ — Friends and volunteers of the Natchez-Adams County Humane Society want you to get your boiled peanut fix this Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.

The annual Nuts for Mutts fundraiser will be at The Corner Bar, 201 State St. Gallon bags of regular and Cajun-seasoned peanuts will be offered for sale. All proceeds will go to benefit the Natchez-Adams County Humane Society.

Casseroles will also be available for purchase.

Anyone wanting to donate a casserole or dessert to be sold at the event should call 601-660-2647.
