FERRIDAY, La. — Funeral services for Marland V. Green, 68, of Ferriday, who passed on Aug. 31, 2024, will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, St. James B.C. with Elder James Devine officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Marland V. Green was born on May 25, 1956, in Frogmore, the daughter of Alex and Lillie Scott Green.

She is preceded in death by her father; one sister, Clarice Green; three brothers, Demetris Green, Alex Green, Jr., Danny Thomas.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories with her mother, Lillie Scott Green, Ferriday; one sister, Joyce Jordan (Thomas); four brothers, Emmanuel Green (Dorothy), Cedric Green, Darrell Green, all of Ferriday, Bryan Green (Mary), Clayton; three aunts, Lillian Scott, Ferriday, Mable McKinney, Chicago, Illinois, Hattie Johnson, Hammond, Indiana; four uncles, Henry Scott, New Orleans, Jerri Green, Ernest Green, Joseph Scott, all of Ferriday; her caregiver, Jacqueline Whitley, Ferriday; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
