Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and members of the “Divine 9” Greek organizations throughout the Miss-Lou hosted the 2024 Teen Summit event on Saturday at Natchez High School, which taught youth from all reaches of the Miss-Lou about careers and professionalism, mental health and suicide prevention, anti-bullying and conflict resolution, vaping and tobacco and social media.
The event saw hundreds of attendees from Natchez, Vidalia, Ferriday and other areas. This year the theme was “Empowering Knowledge for Your Future.”
