On Thursday at 4:31 a.m. an excessive heat warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Thursday between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m.
“Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 110 degrees to 115 expected,” can be expected according to the NWS. “The threat for dangerous heat will continue into this weekend.”
“Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events,” explains the NWS.
