FERRIDAY – Funeral services for Kitress Morease Williams, 58, of Ferriday, LA, who passed on Aug. 2, 2024, at the Plaquemine Caring, LLC in Plaquemine, LA, will be held at 9 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, at Mercy Seat Baptist Church in Ferriday with Pastor Danny Lewis officiating.

Burial will follow at New Hope Church Cemetery in Natchez, MS, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday.

Visitation will be on Friday from 4 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Kitress Williams was born Aug. 24, 1965, in Natchez, the son of Alfredrick, Sr. and Lenette Chatman Williams.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Rev. Mack Stokes, George Chatman, Alfredrick Williams, Jr.; three sisters, Ladonna Williams, Mamie Brooks, and Geraldine Williams.

Kitress leaves his loving memories with two sons, Calveron Stelly of Clayton, LA;  Kendrell Madison; his fiancee’, Cotrina Johnson; a nephew that he reared as his own, Darius Williams, all of Ferriday; a niece that he reared as his own, Kelisha Williams of  Dallas, TX; three sisters, Maxine Williams, Lisa Griggs, both of Ferriday;  Dana Sparks (Henry); three grandchildren, Avery Jones of Vidalia, LA, Kendrell Madison, Jr. of Thibodaux, LA; Zykeith Thompson of  Conyers, GA; two special cousins, Vershawn Brooks of  Nevada; Kendyl St. Julian of  Detroit, MI; very close friends, Dexter Taylor, Francis Duncan (Jessica) and   Melvin Keys, all of Ferriday; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
